Preparedness tip #2

Preparedness Tip #2
Pick a place to meet after a disaster.  Designate two meeting places.  Choose one right outside your home, in case of a sudden household emergency, such as a fire. The second place you choose needs to be outside your neighborhood, in the event that it is not safe to stay near or return to your home.

Our First Blog

We started First Trust Industries to extend the services of Bowman's First Trust Alarm Company. After installing, monitoring, and servicing both fire and burglar alarms for the last 25 years, First Trust Alarm owner Joe Bowman Jr. wanted to give more value to the customers monitoring dollar. He felt that it was necessary to offer something that no other security company had thought of; he said, "extend the security level of the monitored customer by offering security related, personal safety products to members at wholesale costs". Joe believes that security is important "at all times" and not just when you are at home. That is why he has formed a new company to accomplish this task. Visit http://www.firsttrustindustries.com/ to browse the store. Then Joe did a special thing and gave his monitored customers exclusive rights to make purchases in a members only store where he sells a variety of security system equipment and home safety products. What a great idea! Now the clients of First Trust Alarm Company can buy products to improve their security and safety at a cost much less than normal sales prices.

After a few months it became obvious that this "gift" to the members should be shared with the public. After all, they deserve to get a deal too especially when it could save a life. This led to the staff choosing a product line that will benefit both the members and the public groups. It was our decision to focus our "main" category on emergency preparedness. Now we are proud to offer the complete line of disaster preparedness products as provided by our vendor Mayday Industries, a leader in the emergency food ration industry.

And Now!

We are happy to start this blog so we can share great preparedness information, statistics and education. We are excited to be source of trust as we Target Your Safety with news and information that will improve your security at home and around the neighborhood and anywhere you go.

Thank You,
